Precision Deep Groove Ball Bearings

The precision deep groove ball bearings from the series 60.., 62.. and 63.. support radial forces as well as axial  forces in both directions. 

The bearings are available in an open design, with non-contact shields/seals (Z/LB) and with contact seals (LU). 

Other seal materials (Viton inter alia) are available as well as with a plastic cage design upon request. 

  • Tolerances according to DIN 620, PN.
  • Other tolerance classes (P6, P5, P4) upon request. 

The SBN-Expert Tip: Precision Deep Groove Ball Bearings to prevent Fretting Corrosion

The O-ring bearings are provided for rotating loads (unbalance) and to prevent fretting corrosion caused by oscillations when a tight bearing seat is not able to/cannot be realized in the housing bore. 

O-ring bearings are also intended to be as floating bearings to compensate for axial length. When exchanging the bearing, the housing can be reused. The O-rings have a permanent operating temperature range from -25°C bis +100°C. The short-term maximum operating temperature is 120°C.

The housing bore is equipped with a chamfer from 15°- 30° to prevent damages to the o-rings. It is recommended to have bore tolerance G6 or G7.
